Our 2023 Foundation class is held on Tuesday night at Samoa House on K rd. The classes are ongoing and are being taught by associate Dawn Glover.

Screen Acting Classes

Kacie Stetson Studio offers night screen acting courses. We also offer private coaching for audition preparation and craft.

Whether you are a working, intermediate or beginning actor, you will be taught at the level that is best for you. 

Kacie Stetson Studio is committed to having every student work in every class. There is an expectation that students will rehearse with their scene partners outside of class during the week.

Night Classes in Acting

We run intermediate/ advanced classes on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY NIGHTS. These classes cover: acting for film and TV, scene study, the business of acting, script analysis, audition technique, script development, and improvisation.

We run a TUESDAY NIGHT Foundation class taught by Associate Instructor Dawn Glover. These classes cover the fundamentals of the Acting From the Core Technique. 

When you join the class, you're assigned a monologue, so Kacie or Dawn can work with you individually to take you through the steps of script analysis. Once you have completed the steps, you will start working on scenes with a partner. We rehearse and explore the text, then shoot the scenes. All scenes are then screened the following week, with feedback given by your coaches and classmates.

Our acting classes are ongoing. We ask new members for an initial commitment of a minimum of 16 weeks. However, most Studio members make the Studio the backbone of their acting life and stay indefinitely to hone their craft.

Classes are intensive, with a minimum class time of 3 hours, although sometimes we run longer. Fees are due by the first class of each month at $55 for Kacie’s classes. For Dawn's classes, the fee is $50 per class.
